After the recent inclusion of Joe Da Silva as managing director of Grupo Gallegos in California, John Gallegos, CEO and founder of the agency, spoke with PRODU about the changes that have taken place in the firm this year.Gallegos said the agency remains committed to its founding mission of providing leadership and creativity to aid clients with their marketing needs. That is a fundamental role of the agency based on a perfect communication with clients.“Buffagni was brought on board to help evolve our creative product and has had a very positive response. Joe da Silva is the perfect complement for a creative agency. As managing director, he will work with me and the lead team to assure a culture of internal excellence, an efficient use of resources, the constant acquisition of incomparable talent that will produce only the finest creative work for our clients,” the agency’s visionary founder said.With regard to Favio Ucedo leaving the agency, Gallegos said: “We hoped Ucedo would stay because he was an invaluable member of the team from the first day. But in the end he felt it better for his personal and professional development to explore something outside the Grupo Gallegos. We wish him all the best.”The CEO said the Hispanic market is expanding and continues to be of great interest to intelligent advertisers. “I often refer to it as a developing nation inside a developed country. There are so many opportunities both for clients and for agencies,” he said.
